Congo!

Received 9Q50ON today. Worked them on 30 m CW. Nice card to go into my file of DXCC countries.

I had the first check in hospital after my adventure the 21:st of March. Everything looks OK. All values for pressure and blood values are within limits. So life goes on as usual. Asked if it was OK to use my motorcyckles. After a short time for consideration I got an OK to go motorbiking!!

Today the much longed-for QSL for Kermadec Island arrived in my mailbox. Very nice card indeed! Comfirmed on 6 bands.

WPX CW 2010

I entered the CQWPX Contest 2010 as SOLP 15M CW and to my suprice I was No. 1 in Sweden!!??
What can I say? The conditions was not so good from 60 deg North last year. But I managed to run a few DX and ended up as No. 1 in Sweden. Se certificate as proof!!!

As always, Life is to short for QRP!

Bands opening

These last two days have been a lot of fun on the bands 10, 12, 15, 18, 20 and 40 m. What about the following:
K7LFY in WA, FO8RZ, 9N7AN, 9M2TO, XU7ACY, VR2UW, VP5/W5CW, a long chat with W4SCU, 5X1NH, XE2S, A6/DL9WVM, P29CW, A45XR, 8J1RL, 9Q/DK3MO.

We have to hope that the sun will create more days like these last two.

S9DX São Tomé & Principe

S9DX fell down in my mailbox today. Confirmed on 80, 40, 30, 20, 17 and 15 m bands only CW. A well performed DX operation and nice QSL card.

So back to chasing DX!!

Got this QSL via buro. He was worked on 30 m CW and was a new country and IOTA (OC-005) for me.
Looks like a nice place to stay.

Last night I worked VU4PB and S21YZ both on 30 m CW in some of the most horrible piles ever. Will this nonsens ever stop? Where are all idiot's coming from. Continius QRM on both DX transmitting frequencies with tuning, sending dit's, sending fake calls. I thought this was a hobby, not a war!!??

As usual, Life is well to short for QRP!!
