OPS! I've got an aquistic guitarr. Nice and easy to play. That might be as it is a Fender. All Fenders are easy to play!? Looks OK.
To the bad news. I've got around 1' (30 cm) of the white fluff. To early and just more work! At the moment it is snowing and temp is around 28 F (2 C). It is predicted to 1' more of the fluff.

I have done a lot of interesting play with my instruments. I got a hold of a Les Paul made by Epiphone and that is supported by Gibson. and cost is about a 10:th of the cost of a original Gibson. And this is equippped with Humbucker and it sounds just fine through my 100 W Fender Amp.

The only thing that is missing is a drum set. But my house is to small and I don't have room for a drum set.

I had to build an old type of pedal to my tube amp. I is a Fuzz with only 2 transistors, So I found a kit on the net. Odered it and it arrived within 2 days! Thanks!
Easy to assembly. I put it together in 30 minutes. And it works as it is supposed to do! So now I can make a lot of noise!!!!

I found this Tube Amp on You Tube. It has a 12" Celestion Seventy80 speaker. 3 X 12AX7 (ECC83) and 2 X EL84 (6BQ5) power tubes. Price tag was 250$. And it sounds just super with my Fender Strat. Puts out around 15 W and switch to around 1 W for home use.
WX here in Sweden is not so good! A lot of white fluff in the air and predicted around 12" of it!! Temp is -3 C (28 F). CUL
I've got a SR-400A to restore. It was some work to replace the old cap's and install a relay in the power supply. Purpose with the relay is to take away the current in the ON/OFF switch on the radio. The radio only has to handle the relay current. The radio work just fine. Had some issues with some old tubes. But all was solved. I will show some pictures now.
For my struggel on 6 m to achive a DXCC is showing some progress. So far I have managed to get 11 new ones. TT8SN and PJ4MM to mention a few. And all so far is LoTW users. Still missing IS0 that I worked a few days ago. Slow upload to LoTW??!!
WX in this part of Sweden has been hot. But at the moment we have light rain and temp is 14 C (57 F).

I managed to get hold of a FH-2 Remote pad for my FTdx101MP. Might be usefull during same contests. I also got the book "radio today, guide to the FTdx101MP/D". Nice! It is not a manual. It is some usefull hints and kicks. And also some usefull tips on how to get the most out of the 101.
Worked RI1PB sitting on EU-086. A new one for me. Question is how to get QSL! Hope the conflict/war with Ukraine will end soon!
We have got some setback in the wether. I've got 1,5 dm of the fluff yesterday. And today and tomorrow we will get more fluff. So I have to keep the stud tires on my car a bit longer.
Well! I have a new toy in my schack. And so far I'm pleased with the performance. And it looks just fine. OK! it is expensive but you only live once! And I can afford it. So it is a late X-Mas present to me from me!!!
I have just configured my micro KEYER II to the rig. And it was a "plug and play" efford. Only had to adjust the baud rate and all was OK. I had my old FT-1000MP connected to the KEYER. Reason for to stick with the KEYER was connection to my old lap top and interface with DX4WIN. Had some problems to install the Yaesu Virtual Ports. But no problem with the KEYER and it's use with virtual ports.
Hello to every one. I have retired two of my old trusty rig's. It is the FT-1000MP MK V Field and TS-950SDX. I have had them out for sale. But so far no responce. Wonder why!? I guess they are to complicated and new hams want smaller SDR's??!!
I'm still chasing DX and IOTA. Not much new out there. But it is fun to just lsn on mainly 160/80 m.

BTW long time since I'v been here. But this morning I was wery supriced. I have been chasing TO6S for missing band slots. 80 and 17 was easy. But I still missed 160. And this morning was the first time they where QRV on 160. So I listen for them on my K9AY. And they where week. And big pile. Called twice and he come back to me!!! I have to get out and by a lottery ticket!!! Well my vertical TX antenna works! What more can I say.

Today I replaced the lift winch on my Versa Tower. So now both of them are replaced with Fulton Auto Brake 2500 lbs winches. It worked OK. The work to put it all together was under 1 hr. One problem I found was that I had to thread one hole with an M10. But otherwise no issues.
And I have put hoods over each winch to keep some rain out.

Well, I'm still alive and up and kicking! But I've been occupied with a lot of stuff. I have received two shot's of Covid-19 Pfizer Biontech Comirnaty vaccin. So I'm supposed to have some protection from the virus. And I have had no side affects at all.
I have finished the restoration of the SR-400. And it works just fine.
I have also got an more than 20 years old riding lawn mower. It is a Craftsman LT1000. Works just fine after some repairs.
And I have replaced the Tilt Winch on my Versa Tower. I installed a Fulton 2500 lbs winch with auto brake.
So you see that I have been busy as hell!
I have a SR-400 and PS-500A and a HA-20 that will be restored. Have to recapp al units and perform a full set up of receiver and transmitter. RX is almost similar to SR-2000. It will be fun in these Covid-19 times. And hopefully I will get a shot in the arm quite soon!!??

Well! The sun has reached the low point of winter and is now turning back to some brighter times! But it will take a few weeks before we can see any change.
The restoration of the Hallicrafters SR-2000 and Ha-20 is done. The power supply (P-2000) is heavy. It has the same wight as my ACOM 2000A! You don't run around with it. But the line is working fine. And the equipment has been shipped back to the owner.
Next prodject will be a couple of SR-400. That will be exciting.

Yes! Finally I received the QSL from TI9A. New band slot was 80 m! Thanks for the card. I also received QSL from J79WTA. Worked him on 160. Both of these QSO's was confirmed via LoTW. Had some problems with my K9AY receiving antenna. Dismanteled it and checked the relays in the switch box. And I couldent find any fault with it. Had some problemm in NW directiom but after putting it back together it worked just fine???!!! OK, I did some resoldering but no obvious cause of the fault. Checked the relay's and they where just fine. I will try it out in the eavning. New blog. Have not find out how to add pictures!! Well I managed to add some Pictures. But I must say that it was easier in the old blog!!!
